Super Eagles of Nigeria faced South Africa in a thrilling semi-final match played in Bouake, Ivory Coast.

Celebrities, politicians, and football fans have all expressed excitement on the team’s qualification to the AFCON 2023 finals. One such star is Burna Boy, a Grammy Award–winning Nigerian singer who congratulated the Super Eagles on their valiant triumph on social media.

The musician voiced his excitement about the team’s potential to face the competition’s hosts, Ivory Coast, on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
