GOVERNOR UZODIMMA SIGNS AN MOU WITH A FOREIGN INVESTOR TO RECYCLE WASTE

 

PARTNERSHIP AIMS TO TACKLE ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS AND BOOST ECONOMIC GROWTH

 

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a prominent foreign investor to spearhead waste recycling initiatives within the state. This is a significant move towards environmental sustainability and economic development of the State.

The signing ceremony, held at the Governor’s Conference room, saw Governor Uzodimma and representatives of the Eastern Waste Management Company Limited, exchanging signatures amidst a backdrop of shared commitment towards environmental stewardship and socio-economic advancement.

 

According to the Governor, the company will be leveraging cutting-edge recycling technologies and innovative approaches as the partnership endeavors to transform waste materials into valuable resources, thereby mitigating environmental pollution and fostering a greener, more sustainable future.
